His lab's deep learning neural networks such as LSTM have revolutionized machine learning, are now on 3 billion smartphones, and used billions of times per day, for Facebook's automatic translation (2017), Google's speech recognition (since 2015), Apple's Siri & QuickType, Amazon's Alexa, etc.
He pioneered artificial curiosity and meta-learning (learning to learn), is recipient of numerous awards, and president of the company NNAISENSE, which aims at building the first practical general purpose AI.
Amy Webb is a quantitative futurist. She is a professor of strategic foresight at the NYU Stern School of Business and the Founder of the Future Today Institute, a leading foresight and strategy firm that helps leaders and their organizations prepare for complex futures.Webb was named to the Thinkers50 Radar list of the 30 management thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led and won the 2017 Thinkers 50 Radar Award. She is a Fellow in the United States-Japan Leadership Program and was a Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, where her research received a national Sigma Delta Chi award.
She was also a Delegate on the former U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission, where she worked on the future of technology, media and international diplomacy.

Amir Khosrowshahi is VP and CTO of AI Products at Intel. His team is focused on building machine learning systems, including novel processors, software, algorithms, and solutions, as well as working with companies, academia, and government on a broad range of AI issues. Amir joined Intel as part of the acquisition of Nervana where he was co-founder and CTO.
He has a research background in neuroscience, machine learning, and distributed computing. Amir started his career at Goldman Sachs where he headed a derivatives trading operation. He holds a BA and MA in physics and mathematics from Harvard University and a PhD in computational neuroscience from University of California, Berkeley.
Paul is responsible for the development and enhancement of the sports science and performance analysis support offered to the first team professional players and coaching staff at the club. Using an integrated proactive approach to the scientific management of player development, the aim is to improve individual and team performance. Paul graduated with a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, in 1995.
He also currently works for the Swedish National Team where he is responsible for sports science and performance analysis support. Paul joined Leicester in 2008 and is enjoying his second spell with the Foxes having re-joined the Club in December 2011.
Adam Bonnifield currently serves as VP Artificial Intelligence at Airbus. Previously he led data and technology projects for the Obama White House, and founded two startups dedicated to democratizing AI and Big Data.
He has served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow, where he leads several technology innovation projects for the US government - rethinking how to help workers protect their rights, making voting more accessible, and building open data platforms that measure government performance in new ways.
He is the co-founder of Spinnakr, which was named the top innovator in web analytics, best back-end application of the year, and was the fastest growing web developer tool in the U.S. He also serves on the advisory board of several startups in web analytics, conversion optimization, and digital marketing.

Professor Birgitte Andersen (PhD Economics) is CEO of Big Innovation Centre, a London based think-tank and innovation hub that promotes open innovation via challenge-led taskforces, All Party groups in UK Parliament on Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, and an AI Global Governance Commission.
Since 2011 she has rapidly - through a strong vision – directed and grown the Big Innovation Centre to become a building block in the innovation landscape in the UK and European Union. She is now accelerating the Big Innovation Centre vision with thought leaders, innovative companies and ‘what works’ innovators in the Middle East.
She advises economists and policy makers of national governments in and beyond Europe including OECD, UN and WIPO; and large firms, and serves as an expert defence witness in the UK courts on matters of IP use on the Internet.
She was the Rapporteur for the EU Commission representing the EU Expert Group on Knowledge Transfer and Open Innovation, and currently sits on the EU Expert Advisory Panel for Horizon 2020 - Societal Challenge: Europe in a Changing World – Inclusive, Innovative and Reflective Societies.
Birgitte was recently (October 2018) appointed on Arab League Expert Group on Digital Transformation regarding the Digital Economy Strategy for the Arab World.
As the Head of Big Innovation Centre in Middle East, Dr Hatem Bugshan aims to redefine the current innovation landscape to be more open and collaborative. Through a local presence of Big Innovation Centre, he will lead its contribution to transforming the Middle East economy into a smart knowledge-based economy which can unleash the economic growth and unlock the hidden potential of digital, AI and Future-Tech opportunities.
Hatem has received his PhD from the University of London. His research stream is Intellectual Property Rights and Open Innovation. He has published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Strategic Marketing, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, and Qualitative Market Research. He has also presented his papers at international conferences.
Additionally, Hatem is the founder and president of Education e-Solutions which is established with a mission to become pedagogical and business enablers for both academic and corporate institutions by providing end to end services with a rationale, offer best practices and implement solutions with a key focus on change management.
Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr is the Director General of the Smart Dubai Office, the government entity entrusted with Dubai’s city-wide smart transformation by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Dr. Aisha also leads the creation of ‘The Smart City Index’ - the first-ever benchmark for smart city implementation across the globe in cooperation with International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations. As an acclaimed digital transformation and smart cities thought leader globally, she represents Smart Dubai in the City Protocol Society, Smart City Expo World Congress and GSMA Mobile World Congress.
In addition to her responsibilities at the Smart Dubai Office, Dr. Aisha serves as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils; The Fourth Industrial Revolution’s Smart Cities Readiness Index Team; and the World Happiness Council where she heads The Council of Happy Cities. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Emaar Developments’ Board.
