UBTECH Robotics is top of kids’ wish list this holiday season.
As the education industry increasingly prioritises STEM learning, the curriculum that teaches in the context of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, UBTECH Robotics have just launched the latest in their award winning JIMU Robot line to encourage enhanced robotics building among children aged 8 and above.
Featuring two programmable LED “eyes” and a color sensor that is coded by users themselves, the MeeBot 2.0 Kit is 30% bigger than previous models, offering an unrivalled inroad to engineering movement and motion for today’s technologically minded generation.
John Rhee, Senior Vice President and General Manager at UBTECH North America explained “The response to MeeBot 1.0 has been tremendous. We clearly tapped into something special – the intersection of kids’ love for robots with the opportunity to learn, create, and code in a simple and intuitive yet powerful way. Since 2016, interest in and importance of STEM learning has only grown, so we felt the time is right to level-up MeeBot with even more technologies to teach and inspire kids about STEM.”
Globally recognised as the industry leader in humanoid robotics and with products including Walker, Alpha 1S, Cruzr and Lynx, known for its Amazon Alexa enabled technology, UBTECH Robotics will be showcasing their upcoming 2020 innovations at Ai Everything in Dubai this March.
As the workforce of the future relies on students being able to learn at their own pace and within their own time frames, products like the JIMU Robot line are being praised by educators for their ability to support STEM education in a fun, hands-on way.
