Labiba prove their commitment to the AI community carrying out projects with students and Government.

In a bid to support the UAE’s emergence as one of the leading countries harnessing key future technologies, Labiba, makers of the region’s first & most advanced chatbot platform are lending their expertise to students across the region.

Lead Engineer, Nour Shalabi who is responsible for introducing cutting edge technologies across Labiba’s growing platform has recently conducted an Artificial Intelligence workshop for students at the Faculty of Information Technology at the Middle East University.

She explained “As we continue to benefit from academic research in AI, we find it our responsibility to contribute back to the academic community by showcasing real-life applications of artificial intelligence. We hope that such collaboration will attract more students to consider Artificial Intelligence as their career of choice and therefore help in creating the much needed jobs in the sector during the coming years”.

This CSR initiative is strongly aligned with the sentiments of leading Government Officials who have been speaking out on the UAE’s priority to teach AI as an essential subject for youth of all ages.

Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi the UAE’s Minister of Education stated recently that the launch of the UAE’s AI University (the first of its kind in the world) “will create momentum and industry based on the latest technologies.”

Meanwhile His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence Omar Sultan Al Olama have formed a collective front by stressing the importance of investing in bright minds to encourage creativity and cement Dubai’s position as a global hub for young talent.

Fueled by their belief that scientific research and business communities should be partnered together in order to solve real-life problems, Labiba is currently working with two key government bodies at a national level.

The team will be present at Ai Everything 2020 to discuss their latest initiatives that focus majorly on the power of conversational AI to achieve seamless customer service and free-up labour forces.
